Congratulations to Alexander Straus-Fausto ’25E (ADIP) for being appointed Principal Organist and Associate Director of Music at the Church of the Epiphany in Miami, Florida, and Artistic Director of the Miami International Organ Competition, a prestigious triennial event recognizing young organists from around the world. Alexander most recently served as Assistant Organist at St. George’s Cathedral in Kingston, Ontario. He will be performing this week at the Royal Canadian College of Organists’ national festival in Kitchener-Waterloo-Guelph before heading to Miami to begin his new roles. Alexander earned his Advanced Diploma in Performance from Eastman, studying with Professor David Higgs.
