STUDENT PROFILE
Rachael Sanguinetti is a fifth year PhD student in music education. She holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Education and Musical Arts, Minor in Social Psychology, Arts Leadership Certificate from the Eastman School of Music (2015), and a Masters of Music in Music Education from Ithaca College (2018). Rachael taught for seven years in K-12 general music and choral settings. Her research interests are secondary general music and popular music education.
Rachael chose Eastman “because of the Eastman community and because of the fantastic faculty in the Music Teaching and Learning department. The faculty in the department are incredible mentors, and it’s a pleasure to work with them.” A fun fact about Rachael: “I love to travel. Last summer, I went to Finland, England, and Scotland with my family.”
